**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel **Cardiovascular Critical, Progressive Care Unit** Registered Nurse (RN) **to join our talented team. As a** Registered Nurse (RN) **at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. - The location is in Chico, CA
- The working schedule for this role is 12hr, NOC, 1900 start; may float to other units, including med surg
- The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
- The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
- Holiday requirements are as needed
- Guaranteed hours: 36
- EMR used: Epic
- The pay: $93.75 Hourly ($2340.00 Taxable, $1,035.00 Stipend) = $3,375.00 Weekly = $13,500.00 Monthly Gross

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Administering non-intravenous medications
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
- The patient to nurse ratio shall not exceed 1:4

**Qualifications**:

- Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
- 2 years of Critical Care experience
- BLS/BCLS, ACLS certification
- Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
- Basic computer skills
- Professional, friendly attitude
