Service Valet

POSITION INFORMATION:
Jerry Seiner CDJR seeks a Service Valet to join the service team. The Service Valet operates the shuttle bus, cleans cars, delivers customers' cars, runs errands, cleans the shop, and assists Service Consultants. We are excited to be moving into our new store in May 2024 and are growing our team in preparation.

We are excited to be moving into our new location June 3rd. We are looking to add a full time Service Valet to our team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet customers as they arrive for their service visit, get them with assigned service advisor.
- Place floor mats and seat covers in all in-coming customers' vehicles. write on the tag the lot location and description of vehicle.
- Operate shuttle van as assigned in a very courteous manner and obey all Arizona driving laws to ensure safety. Find out the destination address for each customer before you leave. The shuttle needs to be parked in shuttle parking every night before the shop closes.
- Every Tuesday and Thursday, clean up all scrap metal and batteries.
- Check the waiting room twice daily. Keep it organized and tidy.
- Wash and dry cars as instructed by advisors. Inspect the car for any grease, and clean as necessary.
- When pulling up vehicles for customers: Remove all plastic, paper floor mats, bumper covers and tags. If there is a hard card (the Repair Order) in the car, return it to the Service Consultant. Check for grease along the door panels and the floor.
- Wait for the customer at the car and Thank them for their business.
- Clean the shuttles both inside and out.
- Sweep the shop and keep the service drive clean. Sweep the outside perimeter of the drive and shop. Clean all windows and vacuum the rugs. If there is any fluid on the drive, place sawdust or absorbent on the fluid and sweep clean. Squeegee water into the drain.
- Assist Service Consultants as needed.
- Clean tool room and organize as needed.
- Keep busy at all times - There are always things to be done.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good judgment.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to be self-motivated and productive.
- MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AS WELL AS A DRUG TEST.
