Floor Technician

Job Summary:
Gibson Health and Rehabilitation seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces in commercial settings. This includes performing tasks such as buffing, carpet cleaning, and general custodial duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine floor care maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment to ensure effective and safe cleaning of various floor surfaces
- Operate floor machines, such as buffers and carpet cleaners, to restore and maintain the appearance of floors
- Remove stains, spots, and spills from carpets and upholstery
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to meet quality standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing job duties

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in environmental services or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Ability to operate floor machines and other custodial equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy objects as required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
