**Our Story**

**_ We are looking for a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our team._**

**Position Purpose**

Participates in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans. Provides advice and counsel on food and nutrition to patients in individual and group settings.

**Job Duties**
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans
- Assess patient lifestyle, nutritional, and health needs
- Assist patients in the development specific nutrition goals
- Develop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods and meet nutrition goals
- Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed
- Counsel patients on the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases in individual and group settings
- Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice
- Keep up with the latest nutritional science research
- Provide services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Prepares and reviews patient histories and obtains data through interviews
- Maintains detailed, legible and confidential medical records after each patient visit in accordance with established protocols
- Codes encounter forms according to time of the visit, procedures performed and pertinent ICD-codes
- Attends internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by company
- Performs all duties and services in full compliance with Company standards of care as well as all policies and procedures
- Follows Company Standards of Customer Service Behavior
- Participates in Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives
- Complies with Attendance & Punctuality Policy
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in California.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferred).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

**Work Environment**:The noise level in the work environment is high to moderate.
