- Responsible for the oversight of the daily operations of the CT, Xray and Interventional Radiology sections.Supervises the technological staff, participates in the technical operations of the section, and performs other activities that are necessary to the proper functioning of all imaging and supportive equipment (Injector, Pt support, ect) section of the department. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce diagnostic images including the CT scanner, Xray and IR as needed, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Responsible for coordinating and evaluating orientation and training of newly hired staff. Participates in budgetary planning and compliance. Ensures regulatory readiness and compliance with all state and departmental procedures and policies. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.**Qualifications**:

- Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Work required the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and five years of CT experience required.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) is required.
- Advanced registry in CT is required. State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology Technology is required.
- Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) granted through the American Heart Association is required within 12 months of hire.
- IV certification granted through the hospital education department is required within 12 month of hire.
- Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth experience based knowledge.
- Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
