Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance to drive process improvements and resolve technical issues.
- Work closely with department leaders and team members to identify opportunities for implementing digitization tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve data collection and analysis.
- Initiate and lead automation projects to enhance productivity, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall process reliability.
- Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues on the production floor.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to manufacturing processes and automation.
- 3D Modeling (preferable Autocad or Catia)
- Manage quality issues related to machine components
- Other duties as assigned.
- Vocational background in manufacturing, operations, maintenance
- Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process optimization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present technical information clearly and concisely.
- Experience with automation technologies such as robotics, PLCs, and SCADA systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
