**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- May change based on operational needs.
- The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
- This is a non-permanent full-time seasonal position with the LIHEAP program. Seasonal employment runs from approximately October to April but employment may begin as early as September and last until June.
- WORK CONDITIONS: Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.
- Overtime and travel, as needed.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- Two years of experience in general office work which included interviewing the public; **or**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
