**How you will **contribute as** part of our team**:
The Chemistry Lab Technician is responsible for testing, recording, and reporting results of testing performed, under the direction of the Chemistry Lab Department Supervisor.

Main duties include:

- Receiving, logging, labeling, and storing standards received by laboratory
- Adhering to good documentation practices (GDP) as established by laboratory and Quality Assurance department requirements
- Adhering to training and proper testing practices as established by laboratory and Quality Assurance department requirements
- Assisting laboratory staff with preparation of samples and standards according to established testing procedures
- Performing testing in which individual has been trained
- Maintaining equipment records and daily verification logs for laboratory instrumentation
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace including, properly disposing of laboratory waste and samples according to laboratory procedures and practices
- Good knowledge of laboratory terminology, wet chemistry, bench work, equipment, materials, and the techniques/procedures commonly used in a production laboratory.
- Knowledge of LIMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Other duties as assigned.

**Position Type & Expected Schedule**

Full-Time | M - F 7AM-9AM start time | Some weekend/holiday hours required | OT Eligible

**To **flourish** at Adamso**n** as a Chemistry Lab **Technician**, **you'll** need**:

- 1 - 2 years of related chemistry lab setting experience
- Knowledge of basic lab skills, equipment, and safety procedures
- Wet Chemistry experience
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO 17025
- Demonstrated ability to assume steadily increasing levels of responsibility
