JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK
- s cross streets is named in his honor. Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including:

- Emergency care 24/7
- Orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging technology
- Cardiovascular services
- Maternity care and Pediatric services
- Ambulatory surgery center
- Imaging services

Summary
Under mínimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
May be multi-credentialed in the area of sonography.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
- Assists with amnio procedure biopsies
- Processes and files films as needed

Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
Preferred: Associates degree

Experience
Preferred: 1-3 years

Certifications
Required: Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT(S) within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire). BLS certified. RVT Certification

**Pay Range**: $38.74 - $52.07
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
