Logistics/production Specialist

**Job Title: Logistics Specialist**

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Order Packing**:

- Process individual customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assemble boxes of finished goods on pallets according to customer instructions.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of orders for shipment.

**Shipping**:

- Manage shipments via USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL as well as domestic LTL carriers.
- Arrange shipping for show crates from show to show and back home as needed.
- Assist in managing Test Drive kit requests, including shipping and receiving Test Drive Kits.
- Pack crates for shows ensuring all materials are secured and transported safely.

**Production**:

- Oversee production activities including loading, unloading, and operating laser equipment.
- Perform high-level tasks of assembly and packing.
- Conduct quality checks on individual work orders and random inspections of finished goods.
- Ensure products are properly boxed and bagged according to specifications.

**Facility Oversight**:

- Monitor and maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility.
- Coordinate with the GM for any repairs or improvements needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols within the facility.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience with operating laser equipment or similar machinery.
- Previous experience in quality control or assurance.
- Being self motivated and a "get it done" attitude
- Having a positive attitude
- Being a musician is a HUGE PLUS

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 36 per week
