Freelance Patternmaker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pattern Maker to join our team. The Pattern Maker will be responsible for creating precise patterns used in the production of garments and têxtiles.

**Duties**:

- Fabricate and modify patterns based on design specifications
- Utilize sewing machines and other tools for pattern creation
- Collaborate with designers and garment construction teams to ensure accurate pattern development
- Sew prototypes for testing and adjustment
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in pattern making processes
- Draft and adjust patterns to achieve desired fit and style

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pattern Maker or similar role in the fashion industry
- Proficiency in fabricating patterns using various techniques
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing methods
- Ability to operate machinery relevant to pattern making
- Mechanical aptitude for precision work
- Skilled in pattern drafting and adjustments

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $21.74 - $26.18 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Choose your own hours
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Signing bonus

Ability to Commute:

- Los Angeles, CA (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Los Angeles, CA: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
