**Job Description**:
This position will function as part of the Inventory Control team with responsibility to monitor inventory operations for the Outfit Fabrication Facility, Structural Fabrication Facility and Warehousing.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the planning and executing the GDBIW Inventory Control Plan.
- Processing and auditing inventory.
- Reporting for internal and external users.
- Supporting accurate inventory and capacity reports. Assisting with Warehousing initiatives as assigned.
- Assisting with weekly metrics and reporting.
- Assist with resolving material and database issues.
- Assisting with government audits.

Required/Preferred Education/Training:

- BS degree in business management / logistics, or Graduate GDBIW Apprentice preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience performing inventory operations required.
- Knowledge of continuous process improvement methodology required.

Required/Preferred Experience:
Required:

- Knowledge of material handling and inventory control practices.
- PC skills required (Microsoft Office suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Written and oral communication.
- Able to work in a production environment (inside, outside, sun, rain, snow, hot, cold, dust, and climbing of stairs).
- Self-motivated individual with positive attitude.
- Problem solving ability and conflict resolution.
- Proven customer service track record.
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment.

Preferred:

- Experience working in an organized labor environment.
- Prior successful supervisory experience.
- CICSP, MACPAC and SAP knowledge.
