**Position Description**:Patient Care Technician

**Positions details**:

- Location: Mease Countryside Hospital - 3231 N McMullen-Booth Road, Safety Harbor FL 34695
- Status: Full-time
- Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm (Days)
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person
- Full Time, Exempt: No

**Requirements**:

- Required Experience:_
- 6 months - Acute Care Experience
- 1 year - Skilled Nursing Facility (Florida CNA)
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN Program
- Florida Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) without clinical hands-on patient care experience - BayCare PCT Bootcamp required during first week of employment.
- Required Certification:_
- BLS (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
- Preferred:_
- 1 year - Hospital in related field
- EMT certification / Paramedic license

The Patient Care Technician - responsibilities and skills: Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
