**Job Overview**: We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for campers to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. **Responsibilities**: - Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games - Plan and lead educational and recreational programs - Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times - Assist in organizing and setting up camp events and outings - Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to campers - Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a positive camp experience **Skills**: - Experience in babysitting, daycare, childcare, or working with students - Knowledge of theater, sports coaching, or classroom management - Ability to educate and inspire children through interactive activities - Proficiency in first aid and CPR is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for working with children in an outdoor setting Join us as a Camp Counselor and make a difference in the lives of young campers while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Freeport, NY 11520 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Freeport, NY 11520: Relocate before starting work (required)
