Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with residents
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is maintained
- Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities
**Skills**:
- Experience in hospice care, social work, or dementia care is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with resident rights, HIPAA regulations, and medication administration protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
