The Hampden County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to be a Nursing Supervisor at the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center in Chicopee. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for clinical operations and the medical intake process, including triage; medical evaluations; assessment of all incoming clients and inmates; recognition of signs and symptoms of intoxication and/or acute withdrawal; and providing emergency medical services in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. There is a $27.50 per hour weekend shift differential and an evening shift differential of $3 per hour.

**Work Schedule**: Monday through Friday, 3-11 p.m.; to include weekend coverage when needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a valid license to practice in Massachusetts; Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or Registered Nurse with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, with a minimum of two years’ experience as a clinical nurse supervisor or equivalent supervisory experience; working knowledge of record keeping procedures and legal aspects of medicine; working knowledge and experience with management of withdrawal/detoxification and medication addiction treatment; CPR/AED and First Aid Certification; minimum one year of Substance Use Disorder/addiction treatment experience; excellent written and oral communication skills.
