The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Building Information Modeler (BIM)
- Deliver BIM products efficiently and accurately.
- Work on various building types and ensure model precision.
- Assist with BIM quality control and adherence to project standards.
- Ensure processes involving storing, sharing, exchanging, and managing information about a building throughout its life cycle.
- Ensure the methods for 3D Laser Scanning/Imaging principles and methods are applied

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (required).
- 5 years in the domain of the required modeling, including, but not limited to: Architecture, Interior Design, Structural and Geotechnical, Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Safety, Elevator, Electrical (Power and Lighting), and Construction.
- Knowledge with all references and standard information exchanges with BIM Modeling.
- Expertise knowledge must include not only an expert command of 3D Laser Scanning/Imaging principles and methods, but domain expertise.
- Expertise of at National Contract for Spatial Data Management and 3D Imaging Service.

Preferred:

- Building Information Modeling (BIM) certification

**Additional Requirements**
- Self-motivated and has the desire to always deliver with excellence.
- Organized with the ability to multitask.
- High attention to detail.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to meet Federal & DoD Government security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
- Ability to operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
- 2+ years successfully working from home or a remote location, with mínimal supervision. Environment must provide adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
- Travel may be required for this position based on the company needs of the more remote hiring areas.
