CWC LA schools develop students’ social and emotional skills to prepare them to become citizens of the world, and we promote academic rigor through a constructivist, project-based learning approach to support and develop children’s natural intellectual curiosity. CWC LA enrolls a diverse student body that reflects the abundant diversity of the communities served by our schools.

On a grown path to serving more than 5,000 students in the coming years, CWC LA operates five charters:

- CWC Hollywood (TK-5th) operating since 2010.
- CWC Silver Lake (TK-8th) operating since 2012.
- CWC Mar Vista (TK-8th) operating since 2013.
- CWC West Valley (TK-4th) operating since 2020.
- CWC East Valley (TK-3rd) operating since 2021.

CWC LAhas a Regional Support Office (RSO) that supports all CWC LA schools. We work with our network partners at Citizens of the World Charter Schools (CWCS), linking the schools in Los Angeles to CWC schools in other parts of the country.

Role Overview:
Student Outreach and Enrollment Strategy:

- Lead and execute annual student outreach and enrollment plans.
- Coordinate with the Director of Outreach & Enrollment and the Regional Organizing Manager to execute a comprehensive outreach program, including canvassing, school tours, and community events.
- Ensure timely follow-up with prospective and newly enrolled families within 24 hours.
- Organize and conduct school tours for potential and new families throughout the year.
- Manage all aspects of the student lottery process, including communication and logístical support.
- Oversee ongoing enrollment activities, working closely with the Director of Outreach & Enrollment and the Regional Organizing Manager.
- Evaluate recruitment strategies based on data analysis and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in creating outreach and enrollment content and participate in relevant training for professional growth.
- Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently - self-starter.

Community Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with parent ambassadors and volunteers, informing them about the school's mission, programs, and enrollment procedures.
- Act as the main point of contact for parents in assigned areas, coordinating volunteer activities and community events to foster engagement.
- Work with the School-based leadership team to ensure community engagement efforts are inclusive and aligned with regional goals.
- Organize school events for prospective students and handle volunteer documentation and training in collaboration with the Regional Organizing Manager.

Data and Compliance:

- Assist the data team in managing student information to comply with FERPA regulations.
- Manage the SchoolMint lottery system and collaborate with teams to maintain the waitlist.
- Support Data and School Ops team in the collection of school site data in preparation for the submission of various reports, including but not limited to Consolidated Application, CALPADS, MiSiS, SARC, CRDC, and LCAP
- Assist in the preparation of the school’s end-of-year annual audits and oversight, by collecting and reviewing documentation
- Support the completion of reports for the California Department of Education and other entities.
- Participate in training related to supporting homeless and foster youth and provide relevant training to school staff.

Education/Training/Experience
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in school enrollment, recruitment, sales, or admissions preferred
- Experience in community engagement and community organizing is strongly preferred but not required.
- Working in an Education setting is preferred but not required
- Understanding of computer so
