Description:
**Summary**: We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team and provide a combination of remote and in-person technical support to our staff campus-wide. You will be expected to configure and replace computer workstations and provide technical support via our ticketing system.

**Accountabilities**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Basic knowledge of administering Microsoft 365 and some Google Workspace form our helpdesk ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot printers, phones, and other technology peripherals.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity.
- Provide some training and guidance to staff on IT best practices and policies/procedures.
- Set up meeting rooms for meetings using projectors and laptops and conference room phones and mics.
- Need to have mobility to crawl under desks to connect wires and replace machines and will need to be able to lift 25 pounds and be able to climb a ladder to replace access point in ceilings.
- Must be willing to unbox new computers, set them up, and run imaging software (after being trained).

**Marginal Functions**:

- Be flexible to perform additional duties as assigned.
- General knowledge of computer networking.

**Equipment Used**: Personal computers, printers, other peripherals, and telephones.

**Performance Standard**: Must be able to unpack and set up computers, including all wiring and neatly run cables. Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and errors. Take apart computers and replace hardware. Be able to work independently and act professionally at all times.

**Work Schedule**:This is a full-time position. The working hours are 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The hours will be 8AM TO 4PM Monday through Friday with a half hour lunch break. If you need an hour's break, your working hours could be extended to 4:30PM with prior approval.
