Are you passionate about animal welfare and interested in a part-time role with a non-profit organization? Consider the position of an Animal Caregiver The CCHS is in search of a reliable, enthusiastic, self-starter for an immediate opening as a part-time Animal Caregiver.

A valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with a clean record is required and you must be approved through our insurance, as a driver, to be offered a position. The job involves weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as our animals require care every day of the year.

A retirement plan is available after one year, along with Aflac Benefits immediately. The position may require lifting of 50lbs or more. The ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting is crucial.

Duties and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning cat cages
- Sanitizing dog kennels
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Handling animals with various temperaments
- Performing stray animal pickups and intakes, with potential on-call shifts during evenings/overnights
- Transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments* Using disinfectants during cleaning processes
- Engaging positively with the public
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
