Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Homemaker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Homemaker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

**Duties**:

- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Lift and move heavy objects or assist clients with mobility challenges
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- Administer patient care following established protocols
- Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities to healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia
- Drive clients to appointments or outings while adhering to safety regulations
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

**Skills**:

- Proficient in behavior management strategies
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Experience in senior care services
- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy principles
- Skilled in providing patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Competent in monitoring vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with dementia care practices
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and privacy standards

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.69 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 4 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift

- Bridgeport, CT 06604: Relocate before starting work (required)
