Overview:
BS Degree in a Scientific Field or 1 year Experience as a QA in the industrial setting with food or pharma.
Experience with HAACP or regulated industry experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office

6 a.m. - 6 p.m. 2-2-3 schedule, 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week.
Must be able to work every other weekend.

Tests will consist of:
pH, moisture testing, mold, yeast, basic plating, beverage plating and sugar testing. They will also occasionally pull samples from the incubator and perform package integrity testing (verification that product packaging is structurally sound).

Generate accurate data from testing throughout various checkpoints.
Quality checks will include color, counts, customer samples, flavor, appearance, defect analysis, weights.
Inspect labels, dates, product codes, descriptions, and UPC codes
Complete paperwork and record detailed information from shifts and report any deviations to management team.
Work closely with the line operators and press operators. Help them learn the quality protocols and ensure the operators are following procedures correctly.
There are over 200 different products/SKUs and ingredients, so there will be a lot of details to learn and pay attention to as far as labels, codes, packaging, lot numbers and batch record review.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting quality audits, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform quality control checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Monitor adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
