**Your Purpose in this Role**

As a Journeyman Pipefitter at Tempe Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in our operations by installing piping systems and related equipment. Your work will contribute to the efficient operation of our facilities and the overall success of our projects.

**Pay**

**$30 to $40 Per Hour** - Pay Rate Determined in Interview.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**
- Installs new mechanical equipment such as pumps, relief valves, recirculation pumps, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, and condensate traps.
- Sets up hydronic heating and cooling systems, along with their associated controls.
- Constructs and welds piping and equipment supports, brackets, and guides.
- Assembles and prepares piping that requires welded connections.
- Collaborates with other skilled trades.
- Repairs plumbing and hydronic heating systems.
- Conducts filter replacements on hydronic heating systems and control air units.
- Occasionally provides guidance to others, including training.
- Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Measures, cuts, and shapes pipes using hand and power tools.
- Welds, brazes, cements, solders, and threads joints to connect pipes and create sections of the piping system.
- Mounts supports, valves, and piping.
- Tests the system for leaks using specialized equipment.
- Cleans and maintains pipe components and fittings and flushes the system.
- Removes and replaces worn-out components and restores the system to functionality.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Journeyman in the commercial sector.
- Proficiency in working with steel, copper, PVC, and other plastics.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude.
- Punctual and Dependable.
- Must pass a background check.
