Position Overview
The Marketing and Communications Representative creates and implements communications strategies
to further the goals of Callanan Industries, Inc. and promote our brand. This includes providing support
for staff across lines of business and functions as well as facilitating communication avenues across the
organization.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Develop and execute company advertising strategy.
- Manage social media platforms.
- Coordinate company submissions for national and regional recognition.
- Coordinate volunteer events.
- Design and produce company recruiting materials.
- Design and produce the company newsletter.
- Develop, design and script company videos with focus on safety, recruiting, branding, and
- marketing.
- Write copy for internal and external communications.
- Manage company app and website.
- Participate and speak at local and regional events, charities, and community outreach programs
- to increase awareness of the organization.
- Design and purchase branded materials.

**Requirements**:

- journalism, communications, English or public relations field or other related fields.
- Experience writing/publishing a company newsletter and utilizing all social media platforms.
- internet-based software programs.
- Proficiency with Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and/or Publisher
- Experience in public speaking and preparing related materials.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with employees and customers.
- Possess solid organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
- Drug screen and background check required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.
