**Easterseals South Carolina is looking to hire an Early Intervention Specialist in Rock Hill, SC. This position requires travel to Chester, Lancaster, Rock Hill and York areas.**

The Early Intervention Specialist provides special instruction and service coordination services on behalf of parents/caregivers and their children with developmental delays and/or special needs.

Business hours of operation are **Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 5:00 pm**

**Daily travel is required** for direct service delivery with caregivers in the client’s home/daycare/community (approximately 5-6 clients per day for an hour each). **This is NOT a remote position.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Educate and coach families on effective strategies to help their child reach developmental milestones and improve daily routines.
- Assist the family in understanding the special needs and development of their child.
- Engage in Family Training with the caregiver and child in their home or daycare setting.
- Provide Service Coordination to meet the needs of the child and the family.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of an approved Bachelor’s degree or higher in the following: Child/Human Development, Education, Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or Sociology.
- Minimum 1-year experience working with children ages 0 - 5 years.
- CPR certification required.
