Bulk Packer

**Job Summary**: A Bulk Packer will package both bulk and foreign shipments as instructed on the job jacket and process shipment through the company shipping system. Position does not utilize forklifts, you will move work between areas using a pallet jack.

**Hours**: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday (OT required at times)

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- **Pack journals** as required for shipment
- **Label cartons** as specified by customer
- Complete all necessary paperwork and enter transactions into workflow system in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of shipping software, postal scales and the shrinkwrap machine
- Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPE’s, Ergonomics, and etc.
- Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
- Assist with housekeeping in the Distribution area
- Other duties as assigned

- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy
- Good reading comprehension skills
- Basic math and counting skills

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Packing/Shipping experience a plus

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Stand in place for long periods of time.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
