Overview:
**American Foods Group Company** has an opportunity for a **Vice President of Supply Chain**.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of supply chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives and goals.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, sales, and others in the organization to optimize supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings with a focus on implementing best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize extensive meat and food processing industry knowledge and experience to provide strategic leadership and guidance to all supply chain-related activities.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.
- Leverage data, business analytics, and technology to drive data-driven decision-making and develop actionable insights.
- Establish and monitor success measures to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations.
- Lead and support the organization in its talent development efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular visits to our facilities and businesses to stay close to the business and leaders while working closely with them to execute all initiatives.

Qualifications:
**Minimum Qualifications (required)**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering substantial returns and cost savings through supply chain optimization efforts.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and change management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, influence and drive organizational change, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge and experience in data and business analytics, and ERP systems (Infor M3 preferred).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Extensive, hands-on experience in supply chain management within the meat and food processing industry, with a deep understanding of processing and animal harvest operations.
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or related areas.
- Prior Procurement Experience in a meat or food organization.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful supply chain strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and drive positive change.
- Servant leadership and ability to be present at the different facilities to not only build relationships but also execute all initiatives.
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
