I. **Job Summary**

1. Assist servers in running food from the kitchen to customer tables.

2. Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operations, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.

**II.** **Job Tasks (Essential Functions)**

1. Food runners should be able to carry a large tray with food from the kitchen to any table in the dining areas.

2. Know all table numbers and sections.

3. Ensure all dishes match the ticket including modifiers and special requests.

4. Check quality of Plate presentation.

5. Deliver the correct food to the correct table number.

6. Communicate with wait staff regarding requests and relay those to the kitchen.

7. Communicate with wait staff regarding any incomplete orders/deliveries of food and drinks.

8. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the F&B Assistant Managers and/or Service Director.

**III.** **Minimum Requirements**

**1.** **Education - **High School Diploma or GED.

**2.** **Language Skills - **English

**3.** **Physical Requirements**

**i.** **Stand - **More than three quarters of the time.

**ii.** **Walk - **More than three quarters of the time.

**iii.** **Sit - **Never

**iv.** **Use hands/fingers to handle/feel - **More than three quarters of the time.

**v.** **Reach with hands/arms - **More than three quarters of the time.

**vi.** **Climb or balance - **Less than one quarter of the time.

**vii.** **Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl - **Less than one quarter of the time.

**viii.** **Talk/hear - **More than three quarters of the time.

**ix.** **Taste/smell - **Less than one quarter of the time.

**x.** **Weight Lifted/force exerted - **must be able to lift 25 pounds.

**4.** **Visual Requirements - **Must be able to see.

**5.** **Work Environment -**

**i.** **Wet or humid conditions - **Half of the time.

**ii.** **Work near moving mechanical parts - **More than three quarters of the time.

**iii.** **Work in high precarious places - **Never

**iv.** **Fumes or airborne particles - **Never

**v.** **Toxic or caustic chemicals - **Never

**vi.** **Outdoor weather conditions - **Half of the time.

**vii.** **Risk of electrical shock - **Half of the time.

1. No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
