**Evening Custodian**
Status: Full-Time/ 35 hours per week

**Job Summary**

The evening custodian maintains the LACC offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens, break rooms, bathrooms and hallways in a clean, orderly, sanitary state, ensuring that all areas are ready to receive staff, students, and clients the following day. The position available currently is scheduled Monday
- Friday 5:00pm-12:00 am with a 30-minute meal break. Occasional additional hours available for weekend events, snow removal, or coverage for staff vacation/sick time. This position is temporary May-August. Possible permanent position will open in August, but not guaranteed.

**Essential Functions**
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize assigned bathroom and kitchen spaces.
- Dusting of offices, stairwells, and other assigned areas.
- Set up and clean up for agency events, occasionally on weekends.
- Occasional larger cleaning projects.
- Occasional outdoor grounds maintenance.
- Other duties as required or as assigned by a supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Custodial experience is preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments independently.
- Ability to pass a criminal record background check to work in a building where children’s services are provided.
- Ability to work occasional weekends when requested by supervisor.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and respectful manner with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to lift heavy items, including the ability to move furniture when needed.

**Compensation**
- $15 an hour

**Conserje nocturno**
