Kennel Technician

**Job Title**: Kennel Technician/ Assistant Dog Trainer

**Location**: Hendersonville, TN

**Position Overview**:
**Pay**: $15-$17 per hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Schedule**:

- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM
- Evening Shift: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

(Note: Hours may adjust with seasons and needs)

**Responsibilities**:

- Care for and monitor dogs
- Maintain training manners and boundaries
- Walk dogs twice a day
- Clean and sanitize kennels, facility, and outside play yard
- Gather social media content during walks and playtime
- Feed dogs according to their individual needs
- Administer medications as needed
- Bathe dogs as needed
- Collect kennel laundry as needed
- Clean and sanitize bowls
- Assist with drop-offs as needed
- Assist with training sessions as needed

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience working with dogs (boarding facility, dog training facility, doggie day care, shelter, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Quick learner and team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Comfort around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperments
- Physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
