**Duties**:

- Receive calls, greet visitors, and respond to routine and non-technical requests for information and statuses.
- Establish and maintain files; review and dispose of files in accordance with governing regulatory procedures.
- Compose correspondence on administrative support or clerical functions of the office.
- Operate a personal computer, word processor, or electronic typewriter to type a wide variety of materials.
- Prepare travel orders, vouchers, and arrangements for personnel.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.

- **Education**:Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60.
