Billings Farm & Museum (BF&M) in Woodstock, Vermont is seeking **Summer Camp Counselors.** Owned and operated by The Woodstock Foundation, Inc., a non-profit educational institution founded by Laurance and Mary Rockefeller in 1968, the Billings Farm & Museum was established in 1983 to preserve the historic Billings Farm as well as the character and heritage of rural Vermont.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and effective written and oral communication skills.

7. Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours with mínimal breaks.
- duties:_

1. Assist with the implementation of camp activities including crafts, games, cooking, etc.

2. Work closely with the Lead Counselor to ensure a consistent and quality camp experience.

3. Establish positive emotions among campers by leading by example.

4. Supervise small groups of campers on your own, lead programs and activities.

5. Demonstrate how to work with farm animals properly and safely.

6. Work with staff from all departments in the organization to provide an excellent camp experience for staff, guests, and campers.

7. Communicate with the Lead Counselor and Education and Programs Manager through regularly scheduled meetings, documents, etc.

8. Provide input for program development to the Lead Counselor and Education and Programs Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

- Woodstock, VT 05091: Relocate before starting work (required)
