Sanitation Supervisor

Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor
- Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-time
- Location: Secaucus, NJ 07094
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 11:30pm
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Lead and train staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Enhance sanitation processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Update sanitation procedures and recommend improvements.
- Address sanitation violations identified during inspections.
- Manage monthly inventory of sanitation supplies.
- Supervise pest control measures and maintain accurate records.
- Perform tests to ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Familiarity with BRC or similar standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to align schedules and expectations.
- Conduct safety and compliance inspections, maintaining documentation.
- Supervise the 2nd shift cleaning team.
- Prioritize workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Perform daily LOTO procedures and provide staff training.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- **Requirements**_:

- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- High School diploma or equivalent; 2 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Knowledge of HACCP, AIB, SQF, or BRCGS standards, chemical handling, and environmental testing preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- chemical handling: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing - Warehouse Sanitation Supervisor: 2 years (required)
- environmental testing: 3 years (preferred)
