**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Explain procedure to patient, review and record medical history to facilitate optimum diagnostic results, prepare patients for testing and screen all date for accuracy.
- Perform Duplex and physiologic testing according to IAC accredited laboratory
protocols.
- Non-invasive vascular testing to be performed includes carotid duplex scans, renal artery
and abdominal aorta duplex imaging, upper and lower extremity arterial and venous
Doppler and imaging, non-invasive flow studies with and without exercise.
- Identify pertinent findings and communicate with the supervising physician.
- Ensure optimal customer service performance by attending all ColumbiaDoctors learning
academy courses.
- Conform to all applicable HIPAA, safety and compliance guidelines.
- Ensure equipment and exam area is maintained properly
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasound program required.
- Must be a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- Minimum of 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience, including clinical rotations required.
- Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, systems and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and takes initiative to improve overall office operations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of staff and must have an understanding of patient’s confidentiality.
- Bilingual with Spanish is an added plus.
- Experience with Allscripts or other Electronic Medical Record system preferred.
**Hourly Rate Ranges: $41.67 - $59.16**
Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
