Ambulance Dispatcher

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the flow of information between field medics, customers, and other team members. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.

**Duties**:

- Dispatch ambulances to request for medical transportation (Emergency & non-emergency)
- Transcribe and type detailed information accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with medics via phone systems or other communication devices
- Utilize GPS systems to track ambulance locations and provide accurate updates to customers
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns professionally
- Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement in dispatching processes

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in ambulance dispatching or a related field
- Strong ability to transcribe and type information accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using GPS systems and other relevant technology
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions

This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Typing: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
