Estimator/ Drywall

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Analyze and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other industry-specific programs to assist in the estimation process
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop accurate project budgets and schedules
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors

Qualifications: 0 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related role
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
