**The Headlines**:
In the role of **Procurement Analyst** in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the Metal Packaging procurement team; this role is responsible for:
- Supporting Metal Packaging Category and Supply Managers in their sourcing and supply initiatives;
- Requesting and managing data for metal packaging categories from material creation to contract execution in MCBC systems;
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure policies and processes are followed for MCBC transactional requirements;
- Support strategic category initiatives with suppliers and stakeholders and;
- Complete project work as assigned
This position reports to **Sr. Category Manager, Cans** and works closely with cross functional teams and supplier partners.
**The Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable Issues Resolution**
- First point of Procurement escalation for all metal packaging supplier Accounts Payable discrepancies for US and Canada;
- Ensure suppliers and stakeholders are adhering to MCBC processes and procedures;
- Identify process gaps within P2P process and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
**Supplier Coordination**
- Process ZPCK and FLOW tasks for new PINs for US and Canada
- Work with metal packaging category owners to provide input on supplier performance for Quarterly Business Reviews
- Manage art approval letters for US
- Liason between MCBC and supplier on EDI, ERS and Supply Chain Finance set up
- Process reconciliations and supplier rebates for all metal packaging categories
**Category Focus**
- Have a complete understanding of all metal packaging categories including but not limited to overall sourcing strategy, strategic suppliers and key stakeholders
- Manage metal packaging spend data including spend by cost driver, impacts of changes in the category as well as develop and maintain file that supports LRP and AOP financial inputs
- Support metal packaging category owners on innovation initiatives including attending product launch meetings, coordinating samples and trial material requests as well as provide pricing analysis and feedback
- Support cansheet scrap process
- Project work for metal packaging categories as needed
**System Management**
- Create new SAP contracts annually and update pricing in US and Canada for all metal packaging categories
- Coordinate and provide appropriate support to Global Business Services (GBS) to enable contract creation, adding new suppliers and maintain contract files.
- Lead year-end process to ensure contract SAP contract set up is completed succesfully
- Audit systems to ensure proper setup for contracts (Prices, terms, etc.) and vendor master data (Payment terms)
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Utilize ARIBA to upload completed contracts and maintain sourcing projects
**The Other Qualifications**:
- 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Excel or other analytics-based software (e.g. Power BI) is preferred
SAP experience and an understanding of Accounts Payable functions is desirable
