Substitute Early Childhood Teacher

**Summary**

**Duties**
- Implement existing lesson plans in a way that ensures the integrity of academic time and motivates students to learn and participate.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children.
- Create a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Perform classroom management duties, ensuring children are supervised at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents about daily activities and behavioral observations.
- Follow and uphold all safety and health regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Up-to-Date Department of Children and Families (DCF) clearance.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Current CT OEC required Adult Medical Statement signed by a healthcare provider.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and settings.
- Care 4 Kids Federal Health and Safety Orientation

**Nice To Haves**
- Previous experience in early childhood education preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
