Janitorial Technician

A local growing company is seeking a self-motivated, dependable individual who takes pride in their work. We are actively seeking a permanent full-time janitorial employee available for work in the State College Area. Essential job duties include dusting, trash collection, bathroom cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, window cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Must have clean background. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. Pay & benefits are competitive and depend on experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Skills**
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
