**Position Summary**:
The Accounting Clerk will interface with accounting, manufacturing, and management personnel to provide accurate timely reporting and analysis of financial and operational information. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting cycle by assisting in the management of AR/AP and all general ledger entries.

- All aspects of Accounts Payable AND Accounts Receivable
- Must have experience in Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Maintains standard cost system, including analysis of bills of materials, pricing, usage, and scrap.
- Reviews weekly invoicing, the process of payables, maintain a fixed asset continuity schedule to ensure depreciation is accurately recorded at the close of each period.
- Assist in monthly closing, forecasting and annual budgeting process.
- Audits physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Coordinate and assist the Comptroller in preparing financial reporting packages on a quarterly and annual basis including detailed monthly financial variance analysis and reports.
- Streamline and improve accounting procedures/processes to reduce financial statement turnaround time while ensuring adequate internal controls are in place.
- Assist in other accounting related functions as needed.

Job Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience-manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in policy design and implementation procedures, internal controls
- Strong quantitative skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills

- Manufacturing cost: 5+ years (preferred)
- Cost Accounting: 5+ years (preferred)
