This is a full time position with flexible hours totaling 40 hours per week. The employee reports directly to the Program Rehabilitation Supervisor. The employee provides direct service to clients and their families placed in a psychiatric rehabilitation program. The employee shall be in philosophical agreement with program goals and the program model. An initial training period of approximately sixty (60) hours is required and in-service/workshop training will be arranged with expenses covered by the agency. Involvement in a continuous, formal education program is encouraged.

**Education**:

- College Degree in human services field (i.e., social work, sociology, psychology, education counseling, etc.) preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Two years experience in rendering child oriented services.
- Licensed/certification in clinical discipline or ability to become licensed/certified in the appropriate state, if applicable is preferred.

**Responsibilities**:
Demonstrates expertise in client assessment and evaluation. Knowledge of state regulations and referral systems desirable. Demonstrates proficiency in the field of behavioral health. Demonstrates proficiency in communication & written skills. Direct service for PRP clients as assigned and as privileged.

Implementation of client services (including assessments, rehabilitation plans, discharges, etc.) under the supervision. of the PRP Supervisor.

The coordination of other PRP staff providing direct service to which case oversight is given (i.e., mentors)

Submit billing information.

Coordinate and maintain contact with other service providers of assigned clients.

The maintenance of all case files for assigned clients.

Participates in and communicates with Treatment Team for planning and review purposes as needed.

Attend weekly staff team meetings - client centered.

Maintains regular communication with referring agencies.

Knowledge of CQI Process.

Participates in CQI project teams as required.

Maintains regular communication with a child's family and help with coordination of services with any other agencies working with that child and family.

Approaches clients/families and visitors with respectful, caring manner to convey a sense of concern.

Maintains confidentiality of client records.

Communicates & problem solves via the chain of command.

Delivers care in a non-judgmental manner, sensitive to client diversity.

Seeks constructive criticism and has the ability to evaluate suggestions objectively.

Community Behavioral Health LLC is a full-service Outpatient Mental Health Center staffed by highly qualified behavioral providers, alongside our board-certified Psychiatrists. We proudly serve children, adolescents, and adults requiring mental health services and support, in the clinical, home, or community-based setting.

We have locations in Princess Anne, Snow Hill, Salisbury, Cambridge, Denton, Easton, Centreville, Chestertown, and Columbia Maryland.
