Quality Technician

**Responsibilities**
- Perform detailed in-process and final inspections on tube assemblies using detailed drawings, computer-aided design models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.
- Document production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as required.
- Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience reading and interpreting design drawings or computer-aided design models.
- Must have strong working knowledge of aircraft (commercial or military aerospace) and the proven ability to conduct inspections with limited supervision.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with design data systems, manufacturing enterprise resource systems, electronic databases, and work instructions.
- Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001).
- Strong technical writing skills, ability to communicate effectively with management and departments, and fundamental problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/cross-functional environment.
- Strong understanding of safety programs and occupational safety hazard regulations and requirements.
- Minimum 2 years aviation/aerospace industry experience desired.
**Physical and/or Additional Requirements**
- Perform physical requirements of the position, including use of inspection hand tools and equipment, lift up to 50 lbs., pass eye examination.
- Willing to work overtime.
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
