The **Patient Care Coordinator** is responsible for providing patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting; performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care, including greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, collecting patient co-pays and insurance payments, processing paperwork, and performing other front office duties as required in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment.

**Schedule**:Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM

**Location**: 1600 E Citrus Ave, Redlands, CA

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Staffing and covering call offs
- Daily Bulletin
- Keeping track of Nursing Licensures
- Preparing the Doctor of the Day Calendar monthly
- Preparing the weekly LOA for upper management
- Preparing the new hire tickler files
- Scheduling AHA Classes and other refreshers as needed
- Sending requisitions as needed
- Liaison between the nursing office and other departments as needed
- Assisting with GTS timecard corrections
- Filing
- Assisting with calls
- Preparing miscellaneous correspondence
- Organizing nursing competencies
- Attending monthly nursing meetings (assisting with room prep when needed)
- Preparing monthly meeting minutes and distributing copies to the staff
- Assist with safety and other celebration set up and clean up
- Ariba ordering
- Processing returns to procurement as needed
- Organizing the fit testing schedule for site
- Scheduling/organizing employee COVID testing
- Updating and revising miscellaneous spreadsheets
- Submitting help desk tickets for staff as needed
- Other duties as required

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare office setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience working in a customer service role
- Completion of a medical assistant program
