GS 13: $117,962.00 - $153,354.00

GS 14: $139,395.00 - $181,216.00

**Key Requirements**
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
- Some travel may be required
- Selectee will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 annually
- Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- If the selectee is not an on-board FBI Financial Analyst or Forensic Accountant, the selectee approved for hire will be required to attend a mandatory five-week Forensic Accountant Core Training Session (FACTS) held at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Once training dates are established, employee will be notified in advance
- In order to be given promotional consideration, current Forensic Accountants that have completed FACTS 18-02 or later must have completed their New Forensic Accountant Development Program (logbook) prior to the closing of this job opening

**Major Duties**:
**GS 13**:

- Provides expert knowledge and guidance to the field as it relates to accounting and finance issues, innovations, practices and principles, funding mechanisms, corporate and charitable finances, securities, domestic and international banking practices, money markets, and quantitative and qualitative analysis for evidentiary purposes.
- Oversees assigned region as an authority of the Forensic Accountant (FoA) and Financial Analyst (FA) programs. Reviews the duties and responsibilities of financial investigative personnel, to ensure that basic program elements are in place. Serves as an advisor/instructor, providing the latest information, standards, procedures, and career guidance to FoAs and FAs in the field.
- Operates independently and with wide latitude in planning, designing, and performing work that crosses organizational lines. Recommendations, decisions, and guidance are considered authoritative and generally accepted without signature change. As such, considerable mature judgment and ingenuity must be exercised.
- Creates a variety of tools to communicate with the field, executive management, and external audiences, to inform, educate, and report accomplishments and goals effectively.
- Establishes a rapport and productive working relationships with FBI administrative and operational leadership, colleagues, and external agencies and organizations. Builds and maintains considerable working relationships at the Headquarters level in order to facilitate program management through in-person meetings, working groups, and regular contact.
- Independently designs courses of action to implement assigned programs goals and initiatives, coordinates training, composes communications to FBI leadership and the field, and reports results of program accomplishments and initiatives.

**GS 14 (In additional to the above)**:

- Coordinates and consults with internal and external resources to meet the objectives and requirements of the FoA Program. Makes and recommends appropriate policy and procedural changes to effectively meet program goals and objectives.
- Exercises considerable judgment in communicating at all levels of the organization and with liaison contacts.
- Leverages technology to become more efficient, effective and innovative.
- Independently directs projects, overseeing the work of coworkers and others to accomplish goals and objectives.
