Concrete Dispatcher

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation of goods and ensuring timely delivery. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Dispatch drivers and coordinate their routes for efficient delivery
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and monitor driver progress
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status
- Enter data accurately into the system to maintain accurate records of shipments
- Monitor freight movement and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving problems promptly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette when interacting with customers

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in dispatching preferred
- Familiarity with construction and ready-mix operations is a plus
- Proficient in using Command Alkon or similar dispatching software is a plus
- Strong typing skills for accurate data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
