**Job Summary Statement**:
As the Director of Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Brookshire, Texas. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring quality, and optimizing production processes to meet our ambitious growth targets. You will drive the reliability and efficiency of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities will include overseeing the 7x24 Manufacturing team, Maintenance Team and Engineering team. Developing innovative solutions to drive overall operational efficiencies while coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless production processes. This role demands a strong LEAN manufacturing and technical background, leadership skills, and a commitment to developing a Team environment to meet production targets and customer expectations. This position reports directly to the COO and offers the opportunity to shape the future of solar energy production.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Drive LEAN Operations initiatives to eliminate waste in all processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
- Implement best practices and standards to drive a culture of safety, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all solar modules meet or exceed industry standards. Implement robust testing procedures and quality assurance protocols throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations, minimize lead times, and manage inventory levels effectively. Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components above quality standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing and engineering team. Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to foster a LEAN culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning and professional growth
- Leverage automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies to streamline production processes and maximize efficiency. Identify opportunities for innovation and investment in new technologies to enhance competitiveness and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and environmental regulations. Stay informed about emerging regulations and industry trends to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory compliance.

**Minimum Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years direct manufacturing experience, with 5+ as plant manager/director role.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in 7/24 manufacturing operations, with direct experience in a highly automated, fast paced environment, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
