**Operations and Customer Service Assistant - Kind and patient personality is Key**

Lotus Bridal is a family owned business that opened its first store in Brooklyn, NY in 2005 and has since expanded to Mineola and Manhattan. We are looking to fill the position of Operations and Customer Service Assistant where the core focus will be to provide excellent customer experience, problem solve and assist where needed to streamline the flow of the store operations with a focus on the final aspects of a bride's journey with us.

- Bonus if you have prior experience with alterations or has knowledge of sewing and garment fit

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Assist customers and seamstresses during the alterations process to ensure everything they need is provided and experience is prioritized
- Check in and out bridal customers including sales and alterations.
- Explain the sales/alterations process to each customer.
- Schedule and maintain seamstress schedules
- Ensuring the gowns/accessoires are pulled prior to try on and fitting appointments
- Receiving shipments through our POS system, quality checking the items received, preparing/steaming items for pick up, and contacting customers merchandise is in
- Assist the manager with any other tasks necessary to provide a better flow of operations in the store.
