KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides emotional support and psychosocial counseling to patients.
- Assists in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
- May identify discharge needs and arrange for comprehensive services for patients following discharge from the hospital.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in social work, psychology or a related field.
- Two years of social work/social services experience.
- Positions within this classification may require licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or licensed social worker.
