**Job Overview**: The Digital Brand Advocate plays a pivotal role in promoting and safeguarding the brand's reputation across digital channels, with a particular emphasis on Reddit. This individual is responsible for engaging with Reddit communities, advocating for the brand's values and offerings, and defending its reputation against misinformation and negative sentiment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Reddit Engagement**: Actively participate in relevant subreddits and communities on Reddit, initiating and contributing to discussions, responding to comments and inquiries, and building genuine connections with Redditors.
- **Content Creation**: Develop and curate compelling content tailored to the Reddit audience, including posts, comments, and multimedia content, to promote the brand's products, services, and values. Craft persuasive narratives that resonate with Reddit users and align with the brand's messaging.
- **Brand Defense**:Monitor Reddit discussions and sentiment related to the brand, identifying and addressing any instances of misinformation, negative feedback, or brand attacks. Respond promptly and professionally to defend the brand's reputation and correct any inaccuracies.
- **Community Building**: Cultivate a positive and supportive community presence on Reddit by fostering meaningful interactions, celebrating user-generated content, and championing the brand's advocates and enthusiasts. Engage in transparent and authentic communication to build trust and loyalty among Reddit users.
- **Relationship Management**: Forge strong relationships with Reddit moderators, influencers, and key community members to amplify the brand's presence and influence within the platform. Collaborate on initiatives, partnerships, and events to further enhance brand visibility and engagement on Reddit.
- **Brand Advocacy**:Serve as a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for the brand on Reddit, sharing positive stories, testimonials, and user experiences to reinforce brand loyalty and affinity. Leverage Reddit's unique features, such as Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, to engage directly with the community and humanize the brand.
- **Online Reputation Management**: Proactively monitor Reddit and other digital channels for potential threats to the brand's reputation, including rumors, scandals, and viral controversies. Develop and execute strategies to mitigate risks, address concerns, and uphold the brand's integrity and trustworthiness.
- **Analytics and Reporting**:Utilize Reddit analytics tools and other digital monitoring platforms to track key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, sentiment, and brand sentiment. Analyze data to gain insights into Reddit user behavior, trends, and preferences, informing strategic decisions and optimizations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field a plus.
- Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, or online community management, with a strong emphasis on Reddit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences on Reddit.
- Deep understanding of Reddit culture, etiquette, and community dynamics, including familiarity with subreddit rules and norms.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations requiring rapid response and resolution.
- Passion for the brand and its values, with a genuine interest in building authentic connections and fostering brand advocacy within the Reddit community.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools, content management systems, and digital marketing platforms, with a focus on Reddit-specific metrics and insights.
