**Roles and responsibilities**:
As a land development superintendent, you will oversee the development of property from the initial planning phase through the completion of residential construction. You will ensure each plan meets all regulatory requirements, create, and manage a development schedule, help survey the land to ensure all reports are accurate, and manage relationships with contractors. Land development superintendents provide regular reports about the expected schedule and budget of a project, resolve any problems that occur with the development process, and perform any other tasks as required. Land development often takes several years from beginning to end, as such you will oversee several properties simultaneously. You will also be assigned additional responsibilities to support the overall growth of EG as determined by management. This is a "in-person" position and is not hybrid or remote.

**Key Components of the Role**:

- Supervise, manage, and schedule all land development construction activities at an assigned community. Phases of construction include but are not limited to; Survey, Clearing / Stump / Grub, Erosion Control Measures, Blasting and Rock Processing, Material Management, Mass Earthworks, Road Construction, Sewer, Water and Utility Installation, Final grade, Irrigation and Landscape, Final punch, and dedication.
- Perform estimating of all phases of land development construction.
- Collaborate with houseline construction team to ensure elevations for footings are consistent with the land development plan.
- Coordinate and communicate with public utilities on design and installation dates.
- Assist the houseline construction in utility coordination to buildings.
- Assist with obtaining permits/bonds necessary from municipalities.
- Assist in project closeout and dedication.
- Ensure compliance with all project conditions of approval.
- Help maintain Land Development Account budgets that pertain to assigned projects.
- Assist in seeking bids, negotiating, and awarding offsite contracts in accordance with company policy.
- Draft and negotiate purchase orders.
- Review and approve invoices and purchase orders.
- Schedule/Assist of public works inspections, geotechnical observations, SWPPP inspectors, and surveying parties for construction staking.
- Obtain and track improvement/acceptance from governing authorities.
- Supervise and maintain SWPPP and erosion control compliance.
- Oversee implementation of Safety program at assigned projects and any reporting necessary to ensure compliance.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:
**REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor of Science - Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field
- Proficient in MS Office and use of technology in general
- Valid Driver’s license

**EXPECTED**:

- OSHA - 10 Hours
- SWPPP- 24 Hour
- 3 Years of Experience

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
